When we first received this guitar, we were amazed by how loud and resonant it was unplugged. Plug it into an amp and that lively acoustic character becomes even more apparent. Chords in the open position sound full and rich, while single notes ring clearly and carry plenty of weight all the way up the fingerboard.
PQ1 and PQ3 Pickups
The PQ1 and PQ3 pickups deliver sparkling clean tones when called for but sound surprisingly muscular under gain. There is plenty of clarity for more nuanced playing without giving up the punch needed when it is time to lean into the amp. It is a great combination for Blues, Rock, Jazz or Fusion.
Flame Maple Top and Alder Body
The Top T Hollow Contoured pairs a flame maple top with an alder body, finished in Sheer Teal WakeSurf with binding and a transparent brown back. The high gloss finish shows off the figuring of the maple, while the hollow contoured construction makes this a comfortable guitar whether played on a strap or sitting down.
Chocolate Maple Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard
The chocolate maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard and a 60's Vibe back shape. Heavy frets and the traditional 25 1/2 inch scale provide an effortless playing surface. Thanks to the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, even tightest chord clusters play in tune all the way up the neck. As always fit and finish are absolutely flawless.
