Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Hawaiian Koa Top Natural with Gigbag

The Taylor GS Mini-e Koa: Big Personality, with Beautiful Koa

Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Acoustic Electric Guitar

There's something undeniably charming about a guitar that feels this comfortable yet sounds this full. The Taylor GS Mini-e Koa takes the familiar Grand Symphony design and brings it into a compact, wonderfully approachable format without sacrificing the rich, expressive character that makes a great acoustic so rewarding to play. Whether you're sitting on the couch working out a new song or taking your music on the road, this little Taylor has plenty to offer.

Solid Hawaiian Koa Top and Layered Koa Back and Sides

The star of the show is that gorgeous solid Hawaiian koa top. Koa has a distinctive voice with a strong fundamental, focused midrange, and a sweetness that develops as the wood opens up over time. The layered Hawaiian koa back and sides complement the solid top while providing structural stability. And with no pickguard covering up the natural grain, there's nothing getting between you and the visual beauty of the wood. The understated natural varnish finish and three ring rosette complete the look beautifully.

Comfortable GS Mini Body and Sapele Neck

The GS Mini's compact Grand Symphony body makes this guitar remarkably inviting, but don't mistake its smaller stature for a lack of musical substance. The 23 1/2 inch scale length gives the strings a comfortable feel, while the standard carve sapele neck and ebony fingerboard make everything from open chords to intricate fingerstyle passages feel natural. A 15 inch fingerboard radius and 20 frets round out a playing experience that's equally appealing to seasoned guitarists and players looking for something a little more manageable.

Taylor ES-B Electronics with Built In Tuner

Of course, a guitar this versatile deserves to be heard. Taylor's ES-B electronics give you the option of plugging in when the occasion calls for it, with onboard volume and tone controls to shape your amplified sound. There's also a built in digital chromatic tuner, so getting ready to play doesn't require digging through your accessories. It's a thoughtful combination of acoustic simplicity and practical modern convenience.

Taylor GS Mini-e Koa with Included Gig Bag

An ebony bridge, NuBone nut, Micarta saddle, and Taylor chrome tuning machines complete a nicely appointed instrument that's ready for everyday inspiration. The included gig bag makes transporting and storing the guitar convenient, whether you're heading to a lesson, a rehearsal, or simply taking your music somewhere new. Beautiful to look at, comfortable to hold, and full of musical possibilities, this GS Mini-e Koa is the kind of guitar you'll find yourself reaching for again and again.
