Master designer Andy Powers has embraced the unique characteristics of koa to create a guitar with a fresh, distinctive musical personality. The all-solid-koa 700 Series offers a vibrant new voice, with a look and sound that channels more of koa's natural character.

Hawaiian Koa and Sustainable Forestry

In 2015, Taylor Guitars formed a partnership with Pacific Rim Tonewoods to sustainably source and grow Hawaiian koa for the future. Through Siglo Tonewoods, Taylor contributes to forest restoration efforts in Hawaii by working with local landowners to ensure sustainable practices. This commitment has allowed Taylor to explore a wider variety of koa wood, resulting in the creation of the Select-grade classification, which showcases a rich palette of colors and beautiful striping.

Premium Construction and Design

The 724ce Koa features an all-Hawaiian koa body with Indian rosewood binding, providing a rich and resonant tone. The Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck and West African Ebony fingerboard ensure smooth playability and durability. The guitar is equipped with V-Class bracing, which enhances volume, sustain, and intonation. The natural matte finish adds to its elegant aesthetic, while the mother-of-pearl "Fountain" inlay and single-ring paua and rosewood rosette complete its luxurious design.

The Taylor 724ce Koa comes with the Expression System 2 pickup, ensuring that its beautiful tone is accurately captured when amplified.
