This is true frequency modulation vibrato, not simple volume based tremolo. Notes move, shimmer and bend in a way that feels alive under your fingers. It captures the liquid motion that made vintage Magnatone circuits so sought after while using modern components for reliability and consistency. Inside, the original tube driven design has been carefully reimagined using JFET transistors and specially selected diode arrays to emulate the classic circuit behavior. The result is rich dimensional movement with the organic bloom and harmonic complexity players crave.

Dual Mode Sweeping and Vibrato Controls

The SurfyVibe features a toggle switch that allows you to select between Sweeping and Vibrato modes. Vibrato delivers pure frequency modulation for authentic pitch shifting movement. Sweeping mode introduces a feedback path that creates a uniquely textured effect blending elements of phaser, chorus and tremolo for a lush and immersive modulation experience. Intensity controls the amplitude of the low frequency oscillator while Speed controls the frequency of the LFO. An LED indicator tracks the modulation rate so you can dial in the exact movement you need on stage or in the studio.

Vintage Voicing with Modern Practicality

This pedal operates on 9 volt DC center negative power and features guitar level input and output via standard unbalanced quarter inch jacks. The circuit is not true bypass, staying faithful to the original style topology that defines its character. With a 1 megaohm input impedance and 10 kiloohm output impedance, the SurfyVibe integrates easily into modern pedalboards while maintaining proper signal integrity and feel.
