Its contoured basswood body and headless construction reduce unnecessary mass while creating a balanced instrument designed for comfortable playing whether seated or standing.

Roasted Maple EndurNeck

The roasted maple neck features Strandberg's EndurNeck profile with carbon fiber and walnut reinforcement. A roasted maple fingerboard and multi scale layout provide a 35 inch scale on the low strings that transitions to 33 inches on the high strings, balancing low end definition with a fluid feel across the instrument. Twenty four Jescar stainless steel frets and a 20 inch radius complete the playing surface.

Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar Pickups

A pair of Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups gives the Boden Bass Standard 5 an unusually broad tonal range. The three way voice switch moves between a fat passive voice, full frequency active voice, and mid contoured voice. A push pull Master Volume provides coil splitting for additional tonal options.

Fishman Active EQ and Flexible Controls

The control layout combines Master Volume, pickup Balance, and a stacked two band Fishman EQ for bass and treble adjustment. Together with the pickup voice switching and coil split, the electronics provide a wide range of sounds without sacrificing straightforward control.
