The Squier Paranormal Precision Bass Thinline SJ reimagines the original Precision Bass with semi hollow thinline construction. Its Nyatoh body combines the familiar Precision Bass shape with added natural acoustic resonance, while the Olive gloss polyurethane finish gives this Paranormal model a distinctive look.

Fender Designed Single Coil Pickups

An unconventional SJ pickup configuration puts a Fender Designed alnico 51 P Bass single coil at the neck and a Fender Designed alnico Jazz Bass single coil at the bridge. The neck pickup delivers deep, thumping warmth, while the bridge pickup brings focused, growling bite. A three position blade switch selects either pickup individually or combines both.

Comfortable C Shape Maple Neck

The maple neck features a comfortable C shape profile and satin urethane feel for easy playability. An Indian laurel fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius, 20 narrow tall frets and 34 inch scale length keeps the playing experience familiar and straightforward.

Vintage Style Bass Hardware

A four saddle vintage style bridge with slotted barrel saddles anchors the strings, while vintage style open gear tuning machines provide smooth, accurate tuning. Chrome hardware, a three ply parchment pickguard and black pickup covers complete the package.
