Developed in collaboration with guitar virtuoso Andy Wood, the Wampler Gearbox combines two of the company's most celebrated analog drive circuits into a single, highly versatile effects pedal. Whether you're looking for transparent low gain boost, rich overdrive, or aggressive British inspired distortion, the Gearbox delivers an impressive range of tones while maintaining exceptional clarity and touch sensitivity.

Transparent Overdrive Meets British Style Gain

Channel 1 is based on a refined version of the acclaimed Tumnus circuit, offering responsive transparent overdrive with dedicated Gain, Tone, and Level controls. Channel 2 is built around a modified Pinnacle circuit, providing everything from classic rock crunch to saturated high gain tones with independent Gain, Level, Bass, Mids, and Treble controls. A built in noise gate keeps higher gain settings tight and quiet, making this pedal equally at home on stage or in the studio.

Flexible Signal Routing and Stacking Options

One of the Gearbox's standout features is its incredible routing flexibility. Independent inputs and outputs for each channel allow integration into advanced switching systems, while the onboard Order switch lets you instantly reverse the signal chain to explore entirely different tonal textures. With two independently footswitchable channels, the Gearbox functions as multiple pedals in one compact enclosure.

Condition

This pre-owned example includes the original box, manual, and sticker. A Temple Audio pedalboard mounting plate has been installed on the back for secure mounting to compatible pedalboards. Power supply is not included.
