Built around two DSP chips running in series with individual analog feedback paths, it combines reversed sounds, shifting pitch, stretched time, and enormous ambient spaces. The result can move from delicate atmosphere behind your playing to a sound that seems to swallow the original note and send something completely different back.

Five Reverse Delay and Reverb Programs

Five programs give the Lore distinctly different personalities. Reverse Delay into Reverse Reverb builds layers of reversed echoes and reflections. Reverse Delay into Octave Up Reverb produces airy harmonic textures, while Reverse Delay into Octave Down Reverb heads toward thicker, darker territory. Reverse Reverb into Forward Reverb can turn individual notes and chords into expansive pads, and Pitch Delay into Pitch Delay creates shifting harmonic patterns that can behave almost like a sequencer at longer delay settings or a harmonizer at shorter settings.

Dual Analog Feedback Paths and Modulation

What makes the Lore especially interesting is the interaction between its two analog feedback paths. Affected and unaffected feedback can build upon one another, giving the five programs plenty of room for experimentation rather than locking each one into a single sound. The Mod control adds modulation to the wet signal, and its rate can also be adjusted for everything from subtle movement to more obvious pitch and time manipulation.

Tap Tempo and Momentary Dive and Rise Effects

Tap tempo keeps the delay based sounds connected to the music, but the Lore has another trick hiding under that footswitch. Holding the tap switch engages the momentary Dive or Rise function, shifting the pedal's clock rate for as long as the switch remains pressed. This creates sinking or rising effects that can transform sustained chords and ambient passages in real time.
