Pre-Owned Walrus Audio Janus

The Walrus Audio Janus: Fuzz and Tremolo Pedal With Hands On Control

Walrus Audio Janus Fuzz and Tremolo

The Janus puts fuzz and tremolo together in one seriously creative effects pedal, but the real trick is how you control them. Dual joysticks give you continuous hands on control over both effects, making the Janus feel more like an instrument than a typical stompbox. You can run the fuzz and tremolo individually or stack them together when subtle simply is not on the agenda.

Dual Joystick Effects Controls

The tremolo joystick handles depth from side to side and rate from down to up, so everything from a restrained pulse to much more pronounced movement is right under your fingertips. A dedicated volume control lets you set the tremolo level independently, while an LED provides a visual indication of the tremolo rate.

Walrus Audio Fuzz Pedal

The second joystick controls the fuzz, with gain running from side to side and tone from down to up. Moving the tone control toward the lower end emphasizes bass, while moving upward brings out more treble. A three position clipping switch gives you different fuzz textures to work with, while the Blend control lets you mix your dry signal with the fuzz. With its own volume control, the fuzz side can be balanced against the tremolo or used on its own.

Creative Guitar Effects Pedal

This is the sort of pedal that rewards experimentation. The independent fuzz and tremolo sections give you plenty to work with separately, but combining them is where the Janus really starts getting interesting. True bypass switching keeps the Janus out of the signal path when switched off.

Pre Owned Walrus Audio Janus Condition
