Pre-Owned Vertex Steel String

The Vertex Steel String Clean Drive: Legendary Dumble Inspired Tone in a Stompbox

Dumble Steel String Singer Tone

The Vertex Steel String Clean Drive sets out to capture the legendary Steel String Singer experience in a pedal format. Designed alongside the real deal Dumble Steel String Singer, this analog pedal brings that coveted D style character to your pedalboard without requiring the amp itself.

Expressive Clean Drive and Overdrive

The Steel String isn't just about adding gain. It's about how the guitar responds under your fingers. From warm, expressive clean tones to rich overdrive, the pedal offers a range of sounds while retaining the touch sensitivity that makes the Steel String Singer so desirable. Whether you're looking to add a little warmth or push your signal into saturation, there's plenty to explore here.

Gain, Volume, and Filter Controls

Three controls provide the tools for dialing in your sound. Gain adjusts signal saturation, Volume sets the effect's output level, and Filter shapes the midrange emphasis. That deceptively simple arrangement makes the Steel String useful for everything from subtle EQ shaping and compression to boost and overdrive. Sometimes three knobs really are all you need.
