Pre-Owned Strymon Brig dBucket Delay

The Brig: Multi-Voice BBD Delay in a Compact Powerhouse

Authentic Bucket Brigade Delay with Modern Flexibility

The Strymon Brig dBucket Delay is a powerful compact stompbox that dives deep into the lush, analog-voiced textures of vintage Bucket Brigade Delay (BBD) units. Armed with Strymon's proprietary dBucket algorithm, the Brig delivers three distinctive delay voicings, each based on a classic BBD chip configuration that let you sculpt your repeats with precision and character. Whether you're chasing warm slap-back, rhythmic syncopations, or lush, ambient modulations, the Brig's tonal versatility is both musical and inspiring.

Three Selectable Delay Voices for Maximum Tone Shaping

At the core of the Brig are three switchable voice modes: 3205 for gritty, low-voltage slap-back (30–300ms); 3005 for dreamy, extended delays up to 1 second; and Multi for spacious soundscapes using dual clean delay lines with golden ratio timing. Each mode reacts dynamically to time and feedback adjustments, producing authentic pitch bending and saturation when pushed—hallmarks of true analog behavior recreated digitally with surgical precision.

Expression and MIDI for Performance Control

Beyond the knob-twisting, the Brig embraces modern control standards. The rear EXP/MIDI jack supports expression pedals, tap tempo switches, Strymon’s MultiSwitch Plus, or full MIDI control for preset switching and parameter tweaking. Whether on a tightly synced pedalboard or in a MIDI-driven rig, Brig adapts to your setup with elegance and precision.

Flexible Signal Routing with True or Buffered Bypass

Brig offers stereo I/O with selectable I/O modes to match mono, dual mono, or stereo signal chains. Users can configure True Bypass or Buffered Bypass depending on signal integrity needs, while the Spillover and Kill Dry options make it perfectly suited for parallel routing, effects loops, or studio-grade integration. An analog dry path and 24-bit/96kHz conversion keep your tone clean, clear, and dynamic.

Built to Inspire, Built to Last

Built in the USA with a lightweight anodized aluminum chassis, the Brig is designed to withstand the demands of the road while offering the sonic palette of a studio-grade processor. The intuitive layout, rich modulation options, and onboard tap tempo make it as usable in live settings as it is deep in the studio. From subtle warmth to cascading repeats, Brig invites exploration.
