The Squier Affinity Starcaster: Humbucking Tone to an Offset Semi Hollow Design
Distinctive Offset Semi Hollow Electric Guitar
The Squier Affinity Starcaster takes the distinctive offset Starcaster body shape and pairs it with a laminated maple semi hollow body and dual F holes. Finished in Black with matching black body binding and chrome hardware, it delivers the unconventional styling that has defined the Starcaster design since its introduction in the 1970s.
Dual Squier Humbucking Pickups
A pair of Standard Humbucking pickups gives the Starcaster its massive tone. The three position toggle provides bridge, bridge and neck, or neck pickup operation, while Master Volume and Master Tone controls keep the layout straightforward and easy to navigate.
Comfortable Maple Neck
The maple neck features a slim C shape and smooth satin urethane finish for a natural, comfortable feel. A maple fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius, 22 narrow tall frets, and 25.5 inch scale length provides a familiar playing platform, while the distinctive contoured Starcaster headstock completes the look.
Adjustable Bridge and Solid Hardware
A 6 saddle adjustable bridge and stop tailpiece provide straightforward adjustment and solid tuning stability. Die cast tuning machines, chrome plated hardware, and a four bolt neck construction round out this practical Affinity Series design.
