With delay times ranging from 10 milliseconds all the way out to 12 seconds and up to two taps, the Echolution 2 Deluxe can handle straightforward repeats as easily as sprawling rhythmic patterns. Each tap can be subdivided using five time divisions including 1, 3/4, 2/3, 1/2, and PHI, opening the door to complex rhythmic interplay without requiring a pile of separate delay pedals.

Multitap Delay Modulation and Analog Filtering

Things get considerably stranger once you move beyond the basic delay line. The onboard LFO offers sine, square, saw, and random waveforms for modulation and moving filter effects. MIDI control allows the pedal to integrate into more elaborate rigs, and the LFO can synchronize to MIDI clock with ratios ranging from 1:8 through 8:1. The pedal also provides access to 60 presets when used with the optional remote switch.
