Pre-Owned Pigtronix Disnortion

The Pigtronix Disnortion: Analog Gain Sculptor with Parallel and Series Routing

Dual-Stage Analog Drive Engine with Expansive Gain Control

The Pigtronix Disnortion delivers an intoxicating blend of overdrive and fuzz in one rugged enclosure. Its unique design routes both effects either in parallel or series, controlled by a single gain knob for seamless saturation sweeps. In parallel mode, the overdrive and fuzz run side-by-side, maintaining articulation, bottom-end punch, and dimensional clarity. Switch to series routing and dive into deep harmonic saturation, cascading the six-stage CMOS overdrive into a diode-clipping fuzz, perfect for more extreme textures and experimental sounds.

Filtered Fuzz Sculpting with Six Selectable Shapes

Disnortion’s Fuzz Shape selector unlocks a palette of six different analog filters that dramatically reshape the fuzz output. Whether you crave the classic buzz, a throaty mid scoop, or synth-like oscillations, this passive filter network gives you command over your tone’s contour. With this degree of analog shaping at your feet, the Disnortion turns fuzz into a compositional tool.

Dynamic Overdrive That Cuts and Sings

Pigtronix’s six-stage CMOS overdrive circuit is designed for touch-sensitive response and tonal complexity. The Drive Tone control applies a low-pass filter post-overdrive, letting you tame the top end or let it scream. From pushed-clean amp tones to thick saturation, this side of the circuit remains responsive and full.

Studio-Worthy Flexibility in a Pedalboard Format

Thanks to its routing flexibility and filter sculpting, the Disnortion excels in a wide range of applications. It’s like having two distinct gain stages with the added ability to manipulate how they interact. Stack with other pedals or run into a clean amp for a studio-style dual-mic’d effect in real time. The result is massive, yet always musical.

Built for the Road and Studio Alike

Constructed with touring durability in mind, this unit is in excellent condition with only very light wear. No power supply is included, and the Disnortion operates on a standard 9VDC negative tip adapter. It does not accept batteries.
