Pre-Owned Normandy O-CB Overdrive and Clean Boost Pedal with Box and Manual

The Normandy O-CB Overdrive and Clean Boost Pedal: Two Independent Effects, One Versatile Analog Circuit

Boutique Overdrive with Germanium Clipping

The Normandy O-CB combines a versatile analog overdrive with an independent clean boost in a single, rugged enclosure. Built in Salem, Oregon, the O-CB features a single op amp circuit with classic 1N60 germanium clipping diodes and tantalum capacitors. Its overdrive ranges from warm, rounded breakup to thick, aggressive distortion, with a full low end and plenty of harmonic character.

Independent Clean Boost with Up to 30 dB of Gain

The integrated clean boost provides up to 30 dB of additional output, making it useful for lifting solos above a band mix or pushing the front end of an amplifier. Dedicated footswitches allow the overdrive and clean boost to operate independently or together. When combined, the overdrive feeds into the boost, increasing output volume without adding further saturation from the pedal's overdrive circuit.

Simple Controls and Flexible Tone Shaping

Three straightforward controls make the Normandy O-CB easy to dial in. Overdrive adjusts the amount of saturation, Level determines the overdrive circuit's output volume, and Clean Boost controls the independent boost level. At lower gain settings, the pedal delivers warm, textured breakup, while higher settings produce more aggressive distortion with increased sustain and harmonic content.

American Made Construction and True Bypass Switching

The Normandy O-CB features heavy duty American made construction, true bypass switching, and a black powder coated enclosure with laser engraved graphics. Its straightforward analog design and independent switching make it a practical choice for guitarists looking to combine two essential gain stages without adding separate pedals to their setup.
