Reorderable MIDI Loop Switching

The Morningstar ML10X is the sort of utility that can completely change how you think about a pedalboard. Instead of committing to one fixed effects order, the ML10X lets you build presets that determine which effects are in the signal path and how they are arranged. With 5 stereo loops that can be split into 10 independently controllable mono loops, there is a tremendous amount of routing flexibility packed into this switcher.

Analog Audio Path for Your Effects

For all of the routing going on under the hood, the ML10X keeps the audio signal path analog. The inputs and outputs are buffered, and the unit can operate with mono or stereo rigs. That makes it equally useful for simplifying a conventional pedalboard or getting considerably more adventurous with stereo effects and elaborate signal chains.

Simple and Advanced Effects Routing

Simple presets make it easy to arrange effects in series, change their order, and determine which loops are engaged when a preset is recalled. Advanced presets open things up considerably further, allowing signals to be split and merged for series and parallel routing. Spillover capability can also preserve trails from effects such as delay and reverb when changing presets.

MIDI Control and 512 Presets

There are 4 banks with 128 presets per bank, providing 512 presets in total. The ML10X includes 5 pin MIDI In and MIDI Thru connections and works with MIDI controllers capable of sending PC and CC messages. Morningstar MIDI controllers offer native ML10X integration for direct control of loops and presets.

ML10X Editor and USB C Connectivity

The onboard LCD and controls provide access to presets and settings, while USB C connectivity allows the ML10X to work with Morningstar's editor. The editor provides a visual approach to configuring presets, including drag and drop effects ordering and the more complex routing available in Advanced mode. This pre owned ML10X includes its box.
