The Line 6 Variax 500 A Guitar Collection at Your Fingertips
Line 6 Variax Guitar Modeling
The Variax 500 takes a decidedly different approach to the electric guitar. Individual piezo bridge pickups capture each string and feed Line 6 modeling technology, providing access to a broad collection of electric, acoustic, 12 string, resonator, sitar and banjo inspired sounds from a single instrument. There is no pitch to MIDI conversion involved, so bends, slides, hammer ons and other playing techniques remain part of the performance.
Versatile Electric and Acoustic Guitar Sounds
The Model Select knob and five position selector put the Variax sound library within easy reach. Ten Model Select positions each provide five distinct sounds, while two Custom positions can store ten favorite setups. Volume and tone controls change their response according to the selected model, helping each sound retain its intended character.
XPS Footswitch Connectivity
The included XPS A/B footswitch adds plenty of practical flexibility. Its standard guitar output can feed a traditional guitar rig, while its balanced XLR output can route acoustic sounds to a PA or acoustic amplifier. An XLR cable is included with this guitar. Please note that the PX 2 power supply is not included.
Pre Owned Variax 500 Condition
This Variax 500 shows moderate cosmetic wear consistent with regular use. All cosmetic wear is documented in the photoset. A custom fitted heavy duty gig bag is included.
