The Keeley Nocturne is a remarkably flexible reverb pedal developed alongside guitarist Andy Timmons. Three distinct modes put Spring, Plate, and Nocturne reverbs under one roof. Nocturne is derived from the HALO delay algorithm and is designed for expansive, immersive ambience, while Spring and Plate cover two classic approaches to reverb.

Nocturne Spring and Plate Reverb Sounds

There is a lot of ground available here without turning the pedal into a control panel nightmare. Spring mode draws from the sound of standalone tanks and tube combo amps, while Plate is inspired by classic studio plate reverb. Move over to Nocturne and things get considerably more atmospheric, making this a pedal that can handle traditional reverb duties as easily as big ambient washes.

Flexible Reverb Controls and Presets

Tone, Level, Decay, and Modulation controls make the Nocturne straightforward to dial in, but there is considerably more happening under the hood. Alternate controls provide high pass filter and pre delay adjustment, while MIDI compatibility allows access to as many as 72 recallable presets. Expression pedal control and remote switching provide additional options for more involved pedalboard setups.

Stereo Keeley Reverb for Modern Pedalboards

The Nocturne supports mono and stereo operation along with true or buffered bypass and selectable trails operation. Stereo outputs can also be configured for wet and dry or wet only use. That makes the Nocturne equally comfortable as a straightforward reverb at the end of a traditional guitar rig or as part of a more elaborate stereo setup.
