The Keeley Loomer Fuzz Reverb brings heavy gain and expansive reverb together in one seriously messed up thrill machine. Its combination of fuzz, ambient washes, reverse textures, pitch movement and cascading octave feedback is tailor made for players who want sounds that can move from hazy and floating to absolutely raging. The fuzz and reverb sections can also be reordered, letting you put fuzz first or last for distinctly different responses.

Hall Reverb With Cascading Octave Feedback

Hall mode delivers a super long ambient wash with octave regeneration available in the feedback loop. Rather than simply adding shimmer on top, the effect builds toward what Keeley describes as an ascension shimmer. The Blend control can take the reverb completely wet, opening the door to huge atmospheric textures where the dry guitar can disappear entirely.

Reverse Reverb With Pitch Bending Vibrato

Reverse mode draws inspiration from classic rack effects and uses the Decay control to select between eight delay times from 150ms through 500ms. This makes it possible to create rhythmic reverse patterns rather than simply adding a conventional reverb tail. Envelope controlled vibrato adds another dimension, with up to 50ms of time shift responding to your playing dynamics. Hit it hard and the resulting pitch movement can evoke the sound of working the tremolo bar on an offset guitar.

Soft Focus Reverb For Dense Ambient Guitar

Soft Focus mode combines dense reverb with two parallel delays set at 250ms and 380ms. With the Blend control capable of going completely wet, this mode is designed for the dreamy, smeared textures associated with classic shoegaze sounds. The Warmth control provides tonal shaping for the reverb and modulation, while the Depth control determines the amount of pitch or modulation movement.

Keeley Loomer Fuzz Controls And Signal Routing

The fuzz side provides Level, Fuzz and Filter controls, with the Filter turning clockwise for a brighter sound. A three position voicing switch offers Flat, Full and Scoop settings. Dedicated footswitches independently engage the fuzz and reverb sections, while the Order switch determines which effect comes first. An expression pedal can also be connected to control Depth.
