The Keeley Compressor Pro brings the detailed control of a studio style compressor to a stompbox format. Designed for far more than simple sustain, it gives you dedicated control over Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Gain, making it possible to dial in everything from subtle dynamic smoothing to obvious compression and hard limiting. It is equally at home handling guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals, or other audio sources.

Hard Knee and Soft Knee Compression

A selectable Knee control lets you choose between Hard and Soft compression behavior. Hard Knee provides a more immediate response once the signal reaches the selected threshold, making it useful for limiting, sustain, and more pronounced compression. Soft Knee provides a gentler transition that can retain more of the natural dynamics and feel of your playing.

Automatic Attack and Release Control

Players who want great compression without constantly chasing settings can engage Auto mode. This allows the Compressor Pro to determine Attack and Release behavior based on the incoming signal. For deeper tweaking, switch Auto off and use the dedicated Attack and Release controls to shape exactly how quickly the compression grabs and lets go.

Compression Metering and Dynamic Control

A seven segment LED display provides a clear look at gain reduction from 1 dB through 20 dB, while a separate two color Threshold LED shows when compression is being applied. The Ratio control ranges from 1:1 for no compression through infinity:1 for hard limiting, while up to 20 dB of available output gain gives the pedal plenty of room for makeup gain or use as a boost. True bypass keeps the pedal out of the signal path when switched off.
