The Keeley Caverns V2 combines tape style delay with a remarkably versatile reverb section, giving you everything from a little extra space around a clean guitar to huge ambient textures. Better still, the two effects have their own footswitches, so you can treat the Caverns like two pedals living comfortably under one roof.

Tape Style Delay with Modulation

The delay side delivers up to 650 milliseconds of delay time with a tape inspired voice and available wow and flutter modulation. Keep things restrained and it adds movement and dimension without getting in the way of the original note. Push it further and the repeats can become a much bigger part of the sound. It is the sort of delay that can be useful as an everyday effect without limiting you when it is time to get weird.

Spring Shimmer and Modulated Reverb

Three reverb modes give the Caverns V2 a surprisingly broad vocabulary. Spring mode delivers vintage inspired reverb with available tremolo modulation. Shimmer adds octave up voices for expansive textures, while Modulated mode adds a chorusing quality to a cavernous reverb. Between those three voices there is plenty of territory for everything from straightforward ambience to sounds that can completely change the character of a guitar part.

True Bypass and Trails Operation

One of the really useful touches is the choice between True Bypass and Trails operation. True Bypass gives you conventional switching, while Trails mode uses buffered bypass and allows the delay and reverb to decay naturally after the effect is switched off. Top mounted jacks also make the Caverns V2 an easy pedal to work into a crowded board.
