The Verbera takes a particularly deep approach to reverb by combining IR convolution with an additional algorithmic reverb engine. Rather than forcing you to choose between those two worlds, the dual reverb architecture allows them to work together. With 120 built in IRs drawn from real world spaces and original creations, there is plenty here for everything from convincing spatial ambience to sounds that leave conventional rooms far behind.

Dual Reverb and 20 Second Reverb Tails

The additional XR algorithmic reverb expands what can be done with the convolution side, while reverb tails can extend up to 20 seconds. Attack, Tone, Pre Delay, and Mod controls provide direct ways to shape the character and movement of the ambience. A Trail function can preserve those tails when the effect is bypassed, making transitions considerably more natural when moving between wet and dry passages.

Custom Reverb IRs and Reverb Cloning

Things get especially interesting when you move beyond the factory sounds. Real time IR envelope adjustment and instant IR loading provide control over the convolution response, while the reverb cloning function can capture and create custom IRs. Built in IR browsing and sorting helps keep the library manageable, and the Verbera can store up to 200 presets.

Stereo Reverb With MIDI Expression and Freeze

Stereo input and output with selectable input modes make the Verbera ready for more elaborate stereo rigs. External expression pedal and MIDI control open additional parameters to real time manipulation, while the dual footswitch arrangement handles preset switching, bypass, and Freeze functions. A high resolution LCD keeps navigation practical despite the amount of processing available under the hood.
