The G&L Fallout Tribute Series revives Leo Fender’s late-80s SC-2 silhouette in a lightweight, tone rich package. With a P-90 neck pickup and a humbucker in the bridge that’s split via push/pull tone knob, this guitar stretches from vintage sparkle to gritty punch. Sporting a special run white pickguard (versus the standard tortoise shell), it stands out visually while preserving classic G&L contouring and playability.
Construction and Body
Built with a bolt on hard-rock maple neck and poplar body, this Tribute model has the iconic G&L Saddle Lock bridge and a medium-C neck profile with a 12-inch radius fingerboard, perfect for riffing or chords. Multiple finish options exist, but this unit is in Shell Pink with the unique white pickguard.
Electronics and Tone Versatility
Equipped with Paul Gagon–designed Alnico pickups: P-90 in the neck and a split-capable humbucker in the bridge, this guitar delivers a wide tonal range. The push/pull tone pot enables coil-splitting for single-coil clarity or full humbucker warmth.
Modifications and Condition
Light play-wear is visible across the body consistent with its 2021 age. Straplok studs have been installed.
Playability
Across rich rhythms or searing leads, the medium-C neck and 12-inch radius fretboard feel secure and familiar. The nickel medium-jumbo frets accommodate both flat-picking and bends with reliable intonation.
