The Fender Limited Edition Sandblasted Stratocaster: Classic Design in a Stunning Finish

Sandblasted Ash Body

The Limited Edition Sandblasted Stratocaster takes an ash body and gives it a finish treatment that is anything but ordinary. After the Sapphire Blue Transparent finish is applied, the body is sandblasted to expose deep grain patterns with the black grain filler showing beneath the color. Since the grain determines the final appearence, no two guitars look exactly alike.

American Standard Stratocaster Pickups

Three American Standard single coil Stratocaster pickups deliver the familiar SSS configuration with five position switching. A no load tone control serves the middle and bridge pickups, bypassing the tone control circuitry when turned all the way up.

Maple Neck and Jumbo Frets

The maple neck features a Modern C profile, satin urethane finish, and maple fingerboard with a 9.5 inch radius. Twenty two jumbo frets and a 25.5 inch scale complete the playing surface, while the synthetic bone nut measures 1.6875 inches wide.

Vintage Style Tremolo and Black Appointments

A six saddle vintage style synchronized tremolo anchors the hardware package. The Sapphire Blue Transparent finish is paired with a three ply black, white, black pickguard, black controls, black pickup switch tip, and nickel and chrome hardware.

Pre Owned Condition

This guitar shows light wear consistent with regular use. There is one sizeable ding on the treble side horn along with scuffs on the headstock. All cosmetic damage is documented in the photoset. A gig bag is included.
