The American Original 60s Precision Bass captures the elegantly simple formula that made the P Bass a workhorse of modern music. An alder body with a gloss lacquer finish, round laminated rosewood fingerboard and Lake Placid Blue finish deliver the classic style, while the updated fingerboard radius brings a familiar modern feel to the vintage inspired design.

Pure Vintage 63 Precision Bass Pickup

A single Pure Vintage 63 split coil Precision Bass pickup built with enamel coated coil wire, cloth covered output wires, fiber bobbins and alnico 5 magnets delivers the powerful punch associated with the classic P Bass sound. Master volume and master tone controls keep operation appropriately straightforward.

1963 C Maple Neck

The maple neck features a thick 1963 C profile designed to comfortably fill the fret hand. Its 9.5 inch radius round laminated rosewood fingerboard carries 20 vintage tall frets, vintage clay dot position inlays and a bone nut. A 34 inch scale length completes the traditional Precision Bass foundation.

Vintage Style Precision Bass Hardware

Vintage inspired appointments include a four saddle bridge with threaded steel saddles, Pure Vintage reverse open gear tuning machines, four ply brown shell pickguard, nickel and chrome hardware and vintage style details throughout. This example is all original and shows light wear consistent with regular use. All cosmetic damage is documented in the photoset.
