Combining analog fuzz and distortion with a six band graphic EQ, this is the sort of pedal for players who would rather shape their dirt than simply turn up the gain and hope for the best. The EQ operates independently from the fuzz section, so the Graphic Fuzz can also serve as a standalone equalizer when distortion is not required.

Six Band Graphic EQ and Distortion

Six EQ sliders cover 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 4000 Hz, with up to 15 dB of boost or cut available at each frequency. That amount of control makes it possible to carve out the mids, push them forward, tighten the bottom end, or reshape the upper frequencies before the signal heads down the rest of your chain. Overdrive and Volume sliders provide additional control over distortion and output level.

Dynamics and Sustain Controls

This is where the Graphic Fuzz gets particularly interesting. The Dynamics control changes how strongly the effect responds to your playing. At lower settings it behaves more like a conventional fuzz with a relatively consistent output, while raising the control makes the response increasingly sensitive to picking dynamics. The Sustain control works alongside Dynamics to determine how long notes are sustained. It is an unusual approach that puts more expressive control under your fingers rather than leaving everything at the mercy of a single gain knob.
