Delay times extend up to three seconds, while tap tempo and nine tap divide settings make rhythmic delays easy to integrate into a performance.

Grand Canyon Delay Modes and Stereo Effects

There is a remarkable amount of tonal potential packed into the Grand Canyon. Echo delivers 24 bit digital delay with filtering and bit crushing options, while Mod explores chorus, flanger, vibrato, and warble textures. Multi provides up to 31 echo repeats, and the DMM and Tape modes approach delay from distinctly different vintage inspired directions. Reverb combines plate reverb with echo, while Pitch, Shimmer, Sample and Hold, Drum, and Doubler push the pedal well beyond conventional delay duties.

Electro Harmonix Looper With 16 Minutes of Recording

The onboard looper provides up to 16 minutes of recording time with unlimited overdubs, undo and redo functions, reverse, speed adjustment, loop fade out, and a dedicated stop function. Better still, the delay and looper sections are designed to work together, allowing the Grand Canyon effects to become part of the looping process. Loop audio remains stored until it is erased, even when power is removed.

Tap Tempo Presets and Expression Control

Thirteen presets can be saved and recalled, and programmable expression pedal settings provide extensive real time control. Tails can allow echoes to decay naturally after bypass, while Ping Pong sends repeats between the left and right outputs in a stereo setup. Moment mode provides another performance option by making the delay active only while the bypass footswitch is held down. A connector for an external three button footswitch further expands hands free operation.
