The Eddie Wang Pulsar Reverb is a boutique amplifier that captures the essence of classic American tube amp design. Drawing inspiration from legendary models like the Fender Princeton Reverb, Tweed Deluxe, and vintage Gibson amps, the Pulsar Reverb offers a versatile tonal palette. Its unique tone stack allows players to dial in a range of sounds, from mid-scooped Fender tones to mid-forward Tweed sounds and even British-inspired overdrive.

Premium Components and Thoughtful Design

Built with top-tier components, the Pulsar Reverb features custom-designed Soursound transformers and a solid finger-jointed pine cabinet for enhanced resonance and durability. The amplifier is equipped with two 6V6 power tubes, cathode biased for simplicity and touch sensitivity. A standout feature is the Volt control, which lets you adjust the output from 15 watts down to 1/4 watt, making it suitable for both stage and studio settings.

Rich Reverb and Lush Tremolo Effects

The Pulsar Reverb includes a tube-driven spring reverb, tuned to deliver a more "plate-like" sound that sits well in the mix. Additionally, it offers a power tube bias tremolo, providing a lush, three-dimensional effect that enhances your playing experience. Both effects are footswitchable, allowing for seamless integration into your performance.

"The tremolo doesn't "turn on" until the Volt knob is about halfway (depending on the gain/age of the tube, this varies slightly, but when new, it was at 50% on the knob). This is normal. It's a power tube bias type tremolo (my favorite), and there's really no way to preserve it's "vibe" and still make it work with the wattage feature below 50%, which is why this was part of the design."

Condition and Included Accessories

This pre-owned unit is in excellent working condition, with only light surface wear visible on the top near the handle. It comes complete with a power cable, footswitch, and protective cover, so you're all set to plug in and play.
