Envelope Filter Pedal with Three Distinct Modes

The EarthQuaker Devices Spatial Delivery is a voltage controlled envelope filter built for everything from responsive auto wah style movement to decidedly less predictable filtered textures. Three selectable modes give you Up Sweep, Down Sweep and Sample and Hold operation. In the Up and Down modes, the Range control adjusts envelope sensitivity and reaction time, letting your picking attack become an active part of the sound.

Sample and Hold Filter Effects

Flip over to Sample and Hold and things get considerably stranger. Instead of following the envelope of your playing, the filter is controlled by random voltage, while the Range control determines the speed. This gives the Spatial Delivery a completely different personality, opening the door to shifting rhythmic patterns and unpredictable filter movement that can take a straightforward guitar part somewhere considerably more interesting.

High Pass, Band Pass and Low Pass Filter Control

Rather than simply selecting between fixed filter types, the Filter control crossfades between high pass, band pass and low pass responses. Fully counterclockwise delivers high pass filtering, the center position is band pass, and fully clockwise provides low pass filtering. Resonance controls filter feedback, adding progressively more body and ring as it is increased, right up toward the edge of oscillation.

Six Presets and Expression Pedal Control

Six preset locations allow favorite sounds to be saved and recalled, including the three control settings, Mode selection and expression jack assignment. The expression input can be assigned to Range, Resonance or Filter using a TRS expression pedal, and different expression assignments can be stored with individual presets. Live Mode follows the physical control positions, while Preset Mode recalls the stored settings.

True Bypass Flexi Switch Operation

Relay based true bypass switching provides both standard latching and momentary operation. Tap the footswitch to turn the effect on and off normally, or hold it while the effect is bypassed for momentary operation.
