Pre-Owned DOD Rubberneck Analog Delay

The DOD Rubberneck Analog Delay: Control to Classic Analog Echo

DOD Rubberneck Analog Delay Tone

There is something immediately satisfying about a good analog delay. The repeats have texture and movement rather than simply sounding like another copy of the note you just played. The DOD Rubberneck takes that familiar idea and gives you a surprisingly deep set of controls to mess with it. Its bucket brigade analog delay circuit offers up to 1.5 seconds of delay, covering everything from quick slapback sounds to long, atmospheric repeats.

Tap Tempo and Analog Delay Modulation

The Rubberneck is considerably more flexible than the average analog delay pedal. Tap tempo makes it easy to lock the repeats into the song, while the tap ratio control lets you change the rhythmic relationship of those repeats. Adjustable modulation rate and depth can add anything from a little movement to considerably more obvious pitch modulation. Gain and Tone controls provide another useful layer of control over the character of the delayed signal.

Rubberneck and Regen Effects

This is where things get really fun. The namesake Rubberneck function lets you manipulate delay time with the footswitch, producing ramping and pitch bending effects without having to reach down and start twisting knobs in the middle of a performance. Regen Adjust provides momentary control over feedback, opening the door to swelling repeats and self oscillating textures. Both features make the pedal feel unusually interactive for an analog delay.

Effects Loop and Delay Tail Switching

An integrated effects loop lets you place other effects directly into the delay path, which can turn the Rubberneck into the center of a much more elaborate effects setup. The pedal also provides selectable No Tails, Tails and No Dry Tails modes. That gives you the choice between true bypass operation, buffered delay trails or a fully wet delayed signal.

Pre Owned DOD Rubberneck Condition

This example is all original and shows light cosmetic wear consistent with regular use. All cosmetic wear is documented in the photoset. The original box and manual are included. A power supply is not included.
