22 Watt All Tube Electric Guitar Combo Amp
The Bugera V22 Infinium brings together the response and character of an all tube amplifier with enough flexibility to cover a lot of ground. Its 22 watt design uses three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84 power tubes, giving the amp everything from crisp, chiming cleans to warm breakup and aggressive crunch. Two independent channels make it easy to move between cleaner sounds and considerably more driven territory.
Turbosound 12 Inch Speaker and Versatile Controls
A single 12 inch Turbosound speaker handles the business end of the V22 Infinium. The control layout provides a three band EQ with bass, middle and treble controls along with presence, while normal and bright inputs provide another useful way to tailor the amplifier to different guitars. Integrated reverb adds ambience without requiring another piece of gear, making this a remarkably complete little combo.
Triode and Pentode Tube Amp Operation
One of the more useful tricks here is selectable triode or pentode operation. That gives the V22 Infinium additional flexibility when moving between different playing situations. Whether you are looking for a clean foundation, some edge and harmonic texture, or the sound of EL84 power tubes being pushed, there is plenty here to work with.
Bugera Infinium Tube Life Technology
The Infinium system monitors the output tubes and automatically adjusts current levels as the tubes age. It is designed to distribute the load between the output tubes while maintaining consistent performance over their usable life. A monitoring LED also provides an indication when an output tube needs attention. It is a clever addition to an otherwise traditional tube amplifier design.
