The BOSS RC 10R is the sort of looper that can turn a simple riff into an arrangement before you realize how much time you have spent playing. Rather than treating looping and rhythm as separate ideas, the RC 10R combines a stereo loop engine with an extensive rhythm section designed to work together. Its serial two track operation gives you two independent song parts, making it possible to build performances with considerably more structure than the usual repeating loop.

Two Track Looper for Complete Song Arrangements

The RC 10R really starts to make sense when you want a loop performance to go somewhere. Its two song sections can work with rhythm arrangements that include intros, endings and transition fills. That gives verse and chorus style performances room to develop instead of simply piling more parts onto the same phrase. You can also create two independent loops without rhythmic accompaniment when all you need is a capable looper.

Built In Drum Rhythms and Practice Tools

With more than 280 rhythm presets and 16 drum kits onboard, there is a lot here to play against. Styles cover rock, pop, Latin, jazz, electronic music and more. The RC 10R can even serve as a foot controlled drum machine when you want a rhythm section for practice without building a loop first. Up to 50 user rhythms and loops can also be loaded in SMF format using compatible editor software.

32 Bit Audio and Flexible Output Routing

The loop engine uses 32 bit conversion with 32 bit floating point processing, giving the RC 10R plenty of resolution for capturing the details of your instrument. Dual outputs provide useful routing options when combining an instrument amplifier with a full range playback system. Selectable output filters can also optimize the instrument or rhythm tracks when both need to share the same type of playback system.
