The Boss Katana Go takes a surprisingly deep collection of amp sounds and effects and puts it into a package that plugs directly into your instrument. Guitar mode provides 10 amp selections and more than 85 effects, while bass mode provides three amp selections and more than 65 effects. That makes this a remarkably flexible little practice tool whether you want clean sounds, crunch, high gain, or a fully effected headphone rig.

Katana Amp Sounds and Built In Effects

There is a lot more happening here than the size suggests. The Katana Go draws its sounds from the Katana amp series and provides 30 user memories in each mode. An onboard OLED display, tuner, and controls make it possible to get around without turning a compact practice session into a menu diving expedition.

Stage Feel and Bluetooth Practice Features

The Stage Feel function uses spatial technology to create a more immersive headphone experience, placing your amp and backing music within the soundfield rather than simply piling everything into the center of your headphones. Bluetooth connectivity also lets you stream music while practicing and provides access to Boss Tone Studio and Boss Tone Exchange for editing sounds, organizing memories, and expanding your collection of presets.

USB Audio and Rechargeable Portable Operation

Connect the Katana Go to a computer or mobile device and it can function as a USB audio interface for recording and playback. The internal rechargeable battery provides up to five hours of operation with a three hour charge time, making this an easy rig to grab when you want to practice without dragging out an amp, pedalboard, and cables.
