The Boss GX 1B is the kind of bass processor that can make a complicated rig considerably less complicated. With 16 amp types, more than 130 effects and eight simultaneous effects blocks, there is a lot of tonal territory packed into one unit. Whether you need a straightforward working bass sound or want to build more elaborate effect combinations, the GX 1B gives you plenty of room to work without requiring a pile of individual pedals.

AIRD Bass Amp Modeling and Boss Effects

At the center of the GX 1B are 16 AIRD amp types paired with more than 130 Boss effects. Eight effects blocks can run concurrently and their order can be adjusted, making it possible to build sounds around the needs of the song rather than a predetermined signal path. Onboard noise suppression helps keep more ambitious patches under control, while the volume and expression pedal adds immediate hands on control.

Fast Patch Editing and Gear Suite

A multi effects pedal is only useful onstage if you can actually get around on it. The GX 1B uses a color display and effect category buttons to make editing and navigating sounds more immediate. Gear Suite provides complete collections of amp and effect parameters that can be recalled quickly and then adjusted to taste. There are 99 preset memories plus 99 user memories, giving you plenty of places to keep your own sounds once you have them dialed in.

Bluetooth USB and Bass Practice Features

The GX 1B is equally comfortable away from the stage. Bluetooth audio allows you to play along with music from a mobile device, while USB connectivity provides a direct path for recording with compatible computer or mobile DAW software. Boss Tone Studio adds editing and organizational tools along with Session features for practice. The processor also supports WAV speaker IR loading and Boss Tone Exchange Livesets.

Flexible Control for Stage and Studio

Three assignable footswitches join the onboard volume and expression pedal with toe switch, giving the GX 1B plenty of real time control without turning it into a floorboard that takes over the room. An expansion connection accommodates an additional footswitch or expression pedal, and compatible wireless Boss controllers are also supported. This pre owned example shows no visible damage or modifications and includes the original box, manual and batteries. No power supply is included.
