The Boss DD-3T takes the familiar formula of the DD-3 and adds some genuinely useful modern functionality without messing with the basic recipe. The sound circuitry and control layout remain faithful to the DD-3, giving you the warm, rounded repeats and straightforward operation that made the original such a pedalboard staple.

Tap Tempo Delay for the Modern Pedalboard

The big addition here is tap tempo. Delay times can be tapped directly with the onboard pedal switch or controlled with an optional external footswitch through the dedicated Tempo input. Three selectable beat subdivisions make it easy to get the repeats sitting where you want them without turning a simple delay pedal into a menu diving exercise.

12.5 to 800 Milliseconds of Delay

The DD-3T offers delay times from 12.5 to 800 milliseconds, divided into three ranges for quick adjustment. Effect Level, Feedback, Time and Mode controls keep everything immediate and easy to understand. From quick slap style repeats to longer echoes and sustained atmospheric sounds, the controls make it easy to get there and get back to playing.

Short Loop and Wet Dry Delay Routing

A Short Loop mode carries forward the Hold function found on the earlier DD-3, allowing a sound of up to 800 milliseconds to be captured and continuously repeated while you play over it. Separate Output and Direct Out connections also allow the dry and effected signals to be routed independently for wet dry amplifier setups.
