The Fender 1962 6G3 Deluxe is one of the most sought-after amplifiers of its era, revered for its ability to produce everything from sparkling cleans to throaty, saturated overdrive. Classic Circuitry with a Unique Overdrive Character

Powered by dual 6V6GT output tubes in a fixed-bias configuration, the 6G3 Deluxe produces approximately 20 watts of vintage tube-driven warmth. With a long-tailed-pair phase inverter, a more efficient GZ34 rectifier, and three 7025/12AX7 preamp tubes, the amp retains elements of the tweed Deluxe’s gain structure while enhancing clarity and headroom. The result is an overdrive reminiscent of a mini Marshall with an American twist—fat, punchy, and full of sustain. The tube-driven bias-modulated tremolo adds a lush, organic depth, giving this amp even more vintage character.
