The all solid build and historically inspired details make it a timeless workhorse that captures the voice of the era. From the first chord it delivers a confident blend of warmth, clarity and projection that responds beautifully to both light fingerpicking and full strumming.

Thermally aged spruce top and solid mahogany body

A thermally aged solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides creates a rich tonal foundation. Scalloped X bracing keeps the top lively while allowing sustain and balance across the register. The one piece mahogany neck with 1942 profile carries a rosewood fretboard accented with mother of pearl dot inlays, combining smooth playability with elegant traditional style.

Inspired by Gibson Custom historic details

The headstock features the world famous Gibson open book profile, proudly showing the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson banner on the front. On the back, the Inspired by Gibson Custom double diamond logo is etched, setting this instrument apart as a faithful salute to its heritage. A new rosewood bridge, cream binding, early teardrop tortoiseshell pickguard and Vintage Gloss finish complete the look with authentic period character.

Stage ready LR Baggs electronics

For modern performance, the discreet LR Baggs Element Bronze VTC system with an under saddle piezo pickup and active preamp provides natural translation of the guitar’s acoustic voice. Soundhole mounted volume and tone controls let you easily shape your live tone or recording signal without detracting from the traditional appearance.

This guitar comes fully appointed and ready for the stage or studio.
