Built around a trio of 12AX7 tubes and a single EL84, the Tall Bird Plus offers a rich, tube-driven reverb that goes far beyond basic splash. Its independent Dry and Wet controls provide detailed tonal sculpting: from saturated, amp-pushing dry gain to purely ambient trails with zero dry signal. The Size control introduces a high-pass filter to tame low-end bloom in loud environments, or to craft a cavernous, atmospheric wash. Trails continue naturally when bypassed, avoiding harsh cutoffs.

Dual-Mode Tremolo for Classic and Harmonic Pulses

Under the hood, a three-pole adjustable optical oscillator drives a neon lamp, capable of everything from whisper-slow modulation to rapid, expressive pulses. Switch between standard and harmonic tremolo modes for either the classic volume swoosh or a swirling, phase-like movement. A true bypass mode removes the optical circuit from the signal path entirely, eliminating the tone suck and volume loss issues found in vintage tremolos.
