Finished in a refined black Tolex with a rich oxblood grill cloth, this Monarch Reverb Plus exudes understated class. The cabinet is built from dovetailed pine for balanced resonance and enhanced projection. At its heart is a 12-inch Benson custom ceramic speaker, voiced for clarity and midrange presence, making it equally adept at clean textures and harmonically rich overdrive.

From Soursound custom transformers to Mallory 150M capacitors and point-to-point terminal strip wiring, the Monarch Reverb Plus is built with high-end materials throughout. The amp's signal path is inspired by the Chimera circuit, offering more tone-shaping flexibility than the original Monarch. Combined with true hand-wired craftsmanship, it ensures durability and tone consistency gig after gig.

Dynamic Power Tube Design

This amp’s dual JJ 6V6 power tubes work in harmony with a JJ 6L6GC power-scaling regulator tube to preserve character at lower output levels. The preamp stage is powered by JJ 12AX7s, with a 12DW7 tube driving the spring reverb tank. The result is a responsive feel under the fingers and a rich palette of tones from sparkling cleans to saturated breakup.

Simple, Responsive Controls

Designed with player intuition in mind, the control panel features Volume, separate Treble and Bass tone controls, and a footswitch-activated spring reverb (footswitch not included). The streamlined layout lets you get to your tone fast and fine-tune it with precision, whether you're shaping articulate jazz cleans or gritty rock textures.
