Flexible Controls and Smart Features

The ARP-87 provides versatile tone-shaping options with its intuitive control layout. The X knob adjusts different parameters based on the selected algorithm—modulation depth for Digital, Analog, and Slap modes, and Filter Width for Lo-Fi mode. Tap Tempo ensures precise delay timing, while the momentary bypass and feedback ramp functions allow you to add dynamic swells or textures on the fly.

Trails Mode for Natural or Instant Cutoff

The ARP-87 includes a Trails Mode for flexible performance control. In Trails Mode, the delay repeats fade out naturally when the pedal is turned off, maintaining a seamless decay. Alternatively, in No Trails Mode, the repeats are immediately cut off when bypassed—ideal for tight transitions. Toggle between modes easily during setup for a tailored experience.

Compact Design with Momentary Effects

The ARP-87’s momentary switch functions open up even more creative possibilities. When the pedal is off, press and hold the bypass switch to temporarily activate the delay, adding texture to specific phrases. When the pedal is on, holding the bypass switch ramps the X parameter to maximum, while holding the tap switch ramps the feedback to maximum for dynamic, expressive swells.
