Strong Projection and Clear Top End
The FG9R features Adirondack spruce top boards with tapered edges, providing structural strength while allowing the body to vibrate more efficiently—a combination that contributes to both power and sensitivity. The neck has a new structural design that combines bolt-on and glued construction to increase body vibration and improve maintainability. Neck and body joints are finished and adjusted with high precision.

This guitar is equipped with premium features, including a FG dreadnought body shape, Adirondack spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, scalloped X bracing, bolt-on, one-piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The Japanese rope sound hole inlay, Kumiki inspired fret markers, and black nickel-plated tuning machines add to its aesthetic appeal.

This guitar is in excellent condition and has undergone a full in-store professional inspection and setup. The neck is nice and straight, fits comfortably in the hand and exhibits no discernible fretwear. Cosmetically, there is some gentle playwear above the soundhole and to the pickguard as can be seen in photos.
