The Jetter Gold Standard Overdrive combines two of Jetter’s most iconic circuits—the Gold Shift and the Helium—into a single enclosure for unparalleled versatility and tone. Whether you’re chasing warm, woody textures or smooth, violin-like sustain, the Gold Standard offers a premium overdrive experience designed to complement any rig.

The Gold Side: Refined Harmonics and Smooth Compression

The Gold side retains the rich, harmonic content of the original Gold Shift while introducing a softer attack and a slightly “woodier” character. The tone control has been adjusted, with the neutral position now at approximately 2 O’clock. The Gold mode delivers strong upper harmonics while trimming back harshness at higher gain levels. For a smokier, more compressed tone, the Shift mode is perfect, especially with brighter guitars and amps. The Shift setting excels at creating smooth, sustained “violin tones,” making it a go-to for expressive solos.

The Helium Side: Organic Low-Gain Perfection

The Helium side is designed for natural, organic low-gain tones and works seamlessly with the Gold side when stacked. The circuit has been tweaked to enhance the lower mids, resulting in stunning tones, particularly with neck pickups on Stratocasters or Telecasters.
