Independent Preamplifier and Boost Functions

One of the standout features of the Michelangelo Overdrive Plus is its independent preamplifier and output boost, each controlled via a dedicated footswitch. The preamplifier can adjust the input signal's amplitude before it reaches the DRIVE section, offering a highly customizable sound. The BOOST footswitch allows you to activate both the preamp and output boost, giving you an additional 15 dB of gain for when you need to cut through the mix. This dual footswitch design ensures that your sound is always under control, whether you're looking to drive the front end of your amp or add a clean boost to your signal.

Versatile Drive Section with Detailed Controls

The DRIVE section of the Michelangelo Overdrive Plus is equipped with four controls—GAIN2, LEVEL, B (Bass), and M (Mid)—allowing you to finely tune the amount of distortion, output volume, and tonal balance of your signal. The SIL/GER/FET selector further modifies the distortion mode, giving you even more options to shape your sound. The BLEND control lets you mix the distorted signal with your clean tone, offering a full range of sonic possibilities from fully distorted to entirely clean, or any blend in between.

Built with high-quality components, including 70s vintage series JFET transistors, the Michelangelo Overdrive Plus is designed for professional performance. The pedal can be powered by a 9V battery or an external power supply, making it as versatile as it is reliable. LED indicators provide clear status updates, showing when the DRIVE and BOOST effects are active.
