With a toggle between Standard and Custom modes, players can seamlessly move from classic to modern modulation textures—all with the reliability and refinement expected from BOSS's Japanese-made Waza Craft line.

Real-time modulation control and expression input

Three dedicated knobs—Rate, Depth, and Rise Time—give you expressive, hands-on control over every aspect of the modulation. Whether you want a subtle, blooming shimmer or a deep, wobbling swirl, the VB-2W responds musically and intuitively. Unlatch mode allows for momentary activation, letting you apply vibrato on the fly for individual notes or chords. And with an external expression pedal, you can shape the Depth parameter in real time for even more dynamic, performative soundscaping.

Hand-assembled in Japan, the VB-2W is a showcase of BOSS's premium Waza Craft engineering. From the compact, road-ready die-cast enclosure to the carefully selected analog components inside, this pedal is designed for durability and tonal integrity. Buffered bypass ensures your signal chain stays clear and punchy even when the pedal is disengaged, and power can be supplied via a 9V battery or optional AC adapter.
