The Ibanez TOD10 is the signature guitar of Polyphia’s Tim Henson, crafted to meet the demands of his distinct playing style. This model features a sleek American Basswood body in a striking Metallic Mauve finish, combining aesthetic appeal with a lightweight, natural tone. With a focus on stability, comfort, and dynamic versatility, this guitar is perfect for players looking to achieve intricate, modern tones without sacrificing ease of play.

Roasted Maple Neck and Ebony Fretboard

The TOD10 is equipped with an Oval C-shaped Roasted Maple neck, heat-treated to improve stability, durability, and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. This neck is designed for smooth, fast playing, allowing for precise control across the fretboard. The Ebony fretboard enhances the tonal range, delivering tight lows and mid-range with a quick response and strong attack in the highs. The Tree of Death inlay adds a stunning visual touch to the already impressive design.

Tim Henson Signature Fishman Fluence Pickups

The TOD10 features Tim Henson's signature Fishman Fluence pickups, which offer a wide tonal palette, from aggressive leads to clean single-coil sounds, even mimicking the sound of nylon string guitars. The neck pickup provides three voices:

• Voice 1: Thick and smooth humbucker tone
• Voice 2: Hyper-clean, nylon string-like tone
• Voice 3: Fluid single-coil sound

The bridge pickup also offers three unique voices:

• Voice 1: A hot-rodded classic humbucker tone
• Voice 2: A blend of Tim’s favorite bridge humbuckers
• Voice 3: Tim's ideal single-coil tone in conjunction with the neck coil

The push/pull tone control allows you to switch between these three voicings, giving you access to a variety of tonal options.

Gotoh T1502 Tremolo Bridge

The TOD10 is equipped with a Gotoh T1502 tremolo bridge, featuring steel saddles and a die-cast zinc tremolo block for improved articulation and quick response. The 10.5mm string spacing provides easy access for precise picking, and the snap-in tremolo arm offers smooth and reliable performance, whether you’re bending notes subtly or executing dive-bombs.

Performance-Enhancing Features

With jumbo stainless steel frets, the TOD10 offers durability and a smooth playing surface, perfect for fast runs and aggressive bends. The Graph Tech nut ensures tuning stability, and the luminescent side dots make it easy to navigate the fretboard on dark stages. The guitar is factory-tuned to standard E, and comes strung with D'Addario EXL110 strings.
